She got a good heating and cooling system
It was just the other week when my kid called me crying so much.
Her number one house plants were dying because her AC had failed while she was on vacation.
I did feel bad for her, but also not surprised that this was an issue she was facing. My kid bought this house three years ago and I was so proud of her. While she did some updates, there were some important troubles she chose to postpone. One issue was the roof that I felt needed to be replaced. The previous homeowner had been there for close to twenty five years, and in all that time he never replaced the roof. He’d only done patchwork to stop leaks and other troubles on the roof. My kid opted to keep the roof, and instead pay for repairs here and there. I knew it would have been better to incur the cost of an up-to-date roof that keeps making endless repairs. Second, my kid chose to retain the seasoned HVAC system that had been in the house for more than a decade. Again, I told her it would be a mistake to keep the aging HVAC system in her home. However, she felt this was the best thing to do and save currency. Well, her worst fear came true when the A/C failed and now her house was without air conditioning. Fortunately, she found a local HVAC corp to do a replacement for her, and even landed a good deal on the up-to-date HVAC system. Now, she won’t be upset about her houseplants for quite some time.
