An evening of fireplace fun
Well, it looks like our low for tonight is going to hit around 24F, which means that we are going to need a lot of warm blankets for sleep.
Last night was so frosty in my room that I had to sleep with the blanket over my face because my nose was getting so cold I couldn’t sleep.
I bet the temp in my room last night was around 50F, and if it gets much colder than that I really have a hard time staying asleep. Tonight is going to be colder, so I am going to run my space heating system in my room and keep all of the cats in there with us. That means we will have six of us in the small room trying to stay warm for the night. The ducts in the main heating and A/C plan have some leaks so we are not able to heat up the cabin with the electric furnace because the ducts leak too much air up in the attic and waste a lot of money in the process. I will fire up this small portable heating device once the sun goes down and get the room warm for us all before we retire for the night. I just want everyone to be warm for this really frosty night that we will all be facing. I guess the heating and A/C corporation near us is open tomorrow and I want to get a modern HEPA filter for the heating and A/C plan because the one in there now is pretty much on its last leg. Wish us luck in this cold weather!
