I had tiny expectations for the hotels air conditioner
I’m honestly not a important fan of traveling on the road.
I had to do it a lot as a kid because my parents went back and forth between many odd states, then my father had a task that was in a single location a single season and another location in a odd season.
It was exhausting enough not having a consistent group of friends at that age, but it made it even worse struggling through college. I might do a single fall semester with a single group of teachers before having to uproot myself and travel to a odd location to work with modern teachers. If given the choice, I would try to avoid giving my adolescents a life prefer this. I think how difficult it was on myself and others and I don’t want to put my own children through the same trials and tribulations that plagued myself and others so multiple years ago. On top of that, I have no desire to return to constant traveling prefer my parents did throughout my childhood. It’s frustrating paying top dollar for a hotel room with a exhausting air conditioner, but that’s what I’m faced with half of the time I get on a trip or getaway. When my partner told myself and others that we’d be getting a room while traveling for our daughter’s dance recital, I wasn’t holding my breath that it would come with a good air conditioner. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the air conditioner in our hotel room. My expectations for the hotel room’s air conditioner were so low that it really surpassed them. I asked the lobby about the air conditioners and they claimed that the ACs were all updated a month prior, making them almost modern in quality and condition.
