My dad was an independent Heating plus A/C tech
It’s been a little bizarre working with my dad for the last year.
But, I have also l received so much wisdom about the Heating, Ventilation & A/C industry under her guidance.
When I went to the university, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I thought going to university was just something you do after finishing high university. To be honest, I kind of wasted my years in university celebrating plus doing all sorts of things. The 1 thing I never did was focus on my university work. Eventually, my grades were so terrible that I dropped out. Staying at the condo with my parents made me realize I had to find some meaning to life and do it fast. This is when I started going to work with my dad who has been an independent Heating plus A/C tech for over 2 decades. Her then assistant had left, plus dad needed some help with the books plus stuff. So, Dad offered to pay me $20 an hour if I went with him. It was better than staying at the condo being broke, plus with nothing to do. However, I began to like working with him on heating plus cooling systems in the area. After about ten weeks working with my dad, I went to Heating, Ventilation & A/C university plus got my certification. Now, it’s been over a year since I began to work side by side with my dad. Before, she had so many clients that it took time to handle all of their Heating, Ventilation & A/C complications. But, now my buddy and I cut the work, plus I genuinely enjoy working in the Heating, Ventilation & A/C industry. I thank my dad because he never quit on me plus I am now working as an independent Heating plus A/C tech for our local section as well.
