Choosing between a gas or oil heating system

Both of us are currently undergoing some renovations to the house, plus that’s been a little tense, then next on the list is replacing our heating system because it’s been in the cabin for way too long.
The previous owners installed the heating system almost twenty-numerous years ago, so the heating system isn’t absolutely toiling regularly plus makes absolutely unusual noises. Both of us are trying to decide if the two of us want to opt for a gas heating system or an oil heating system. I’m personally on board for an oil heating system, however my sibling absolutely wants to stick with the gas heating system since that was what was there before. I want an oil heating system because it is a better choice for the environment. Gas furnaces are cheaper to maintain, however they don’t tend to last as long plus I suppose that’s dumb considering you have to generally pay more money for them up front. Oil furnaces are also a much safer choice to have in your home, plus I don’t want to have to worry about our safety while the two of us are sleeping on frosty nights. I don’t think how long the two of us will have to be in this debate before the two of us reach a sound conclusion, but I don’t like the tension that it’s brought into our house. Both of us usually have some high vibrational feeling between our walls, however it’s been thick plus stale the last few nights. I hope the two of us can figure out how to find some balance between all of these renovations.
