I am a firm believer in using brands that have been around for a long time when it comes to heating and cooling equipment.
Those brands are reputable and have a lot of experience in doing what they do so you know that your oil furnace and air conditioner unit will run respectfully.
I personally prefer getting energy star products because they have been around for a long time and tell me that the device is not only going to labor well however be energy efficient as well. I’ve made the mistake of buying an unit that wasn’t an energy star product and I saw our energy bill skyrocket the honestly first week that I used it.
