I went to the river every day to cool off in the summer
Some people from university decided to go on a long extended chop during the summer, however I’m really blissful that I decided to stay home and labor at a summer time camp program.
The experience was attractive and it’s going to look great on any job application in the future.
I got the job toiling at a summer time camp. I knew it was going to be a lot of fun to labor with the kids. One of my friends from university worked at the summer time camp program the previous summer time and she got me the job. We were both put in the arts and crafts room. It was a lot of fun to come up with ideas and projects that the two of us could do with the kids. The 6-month camp program was by the river and the two of us had access to the water anytime that the two of us wanted. Some of the mornings, the temperatures were above 90, but during a single identifiable week, the temperatures were over 100°, more than four mornings in a row. I went to the river every afternoon to cool off, then none of the cottages had air conditioning, so the two of us had no way to cool down at the end of a long day. The lack of air conditioning was the only downfall to the entire summer time experience. If the temperature had been 10° perfect, air conditioning wouldn’t have mattered and it would have been the most amazing experience of my whole life. I hope that the summer time camp will invite me back to labor again next year. The experience was certainly a single that I will not forget. I made a lot of friends and some of those people ended up at the same school as me.
