My New HVAC is My Favorite Part of Moving
Moving into a new home can be extremely exciting.
There are so many things that add to the thrill and excitement of getting settled into a new space.
Exploring the surrounding neighborhood and what it has to offer is always fun, not to mention decorating and furnishing your new home, as many people find bringing their unique touch of style to their new home to be their favorite part of the moving process. I recently moved out of a small apartment in the city to a cabin farther out in a more secluded area, and surprisingly, one of my favorite things about the moving process as well as my new home has been the heating and air conditioning. This is especially true because I moved during the winter season, which wouldn’t have made much of a difference in my native warm climate, but definitely did in this new cold climate that I’d moved to. Which makes sense, since heating during a warm climate is necessary to comfort. After hours of driving and moving boxes in the cold, I was elated to finally be able to settle down and relax in my new, fully heated home. Thankfully, that home was definitely heated, as it bore a large traditional masonry fireplace as the centerpiece of the living room. The fireplace, along with the central heating that the house had, supplied my entire home with the most comforting, satisfying, radiant warmth I had ever felt, especially after spending so long in the cold. It would be extremely hard to compare those moments of relaxation after hours of work spent unpacking my boxes to anything else!
