Sleeping in our car due to hotel complications
Unluckyly for me, I booked our holiday around the same time as a important car race that most people was anticipating, plus because of that most of the hotels were booked! I drove around for really 2 hours, looking for a hotel.
It was 3:00 am, plus I was dead weary.
I had already driven for close to 5 hours, not including the many hours I spent driving around looking for a hotel. I thought that I had finally lucked out when I found a hotel with one room open, so I instantly booked it. I drove there plus checked into our room, plus that’s when I saw really the grossest hotel room I had ever seen. This room was covered with mysterious stains plus had a strange odor around it as well. I tried the air conditioning unit, however that only made the odor so much worse! Obviously the odor was coming from the air conditioner unit, plus even when I tried turning it off, the odor lingered. I pulled back the covers on the bed, plus they had quite a few stains as well. I decided that it wasn’t worth it, plus left. I got back in our car plus reclined the seat back. I turned the ice chilly air conditioning in our car on, plus prepared for sleep, then sleep did not come easily, however I must have dozed off a few times, because I remember checking the clock at 4:30, plus the next thing I knew it was 7:00 am. Some people were checking out early, which allowed myself and others to finally get a much better room at a nice hotel.
