Date night gone wrong
I recently found out that my ex girlfriend of 12 years has been cheating on me.
I am devastated by this news and I don’t know how I’m going to move on.
However, my friends told me that it was the best thing that could happen to me and as the weeks go on I am starting to agree with him. So I thought it might be a good idea that I get back out there and one of my good friends set me up on a date. I thought it would be fun to go out for drinks just to break the ice. So we went to a local bar that I’ve been to a couple of times and right when we arrived I knew something was off. I walked in and it felt warm and hot in the restaurant. I didn’t like the feeling I got and I knew that something was up, so I asked the hostess if the HVAC system in the bar was working. She said the HVAC system in the entire restaurant wasn’t working and they had an HVAC company coming out to see what the problem was right away. She said the HVAC system may not be working for a while and that we might consider coming back another day. I felt so awkward because my day was on her way but I knew that it would be a bad idea to cancel. So I wasn’t going to let a broken HVAC system ruin my good time!
