My buddy purchased a home and made the perfect heating system investment
I was really excited when my buddy invited me to his house warming party.
I was actually there with him when he first checked out the place.
He asked me if I would help him check out some of the houses he wanted to look at. A lot of the houses weren’t all that impressive, but we both really loved this beach house when we got to it. The ocean view was to die for and the house was in really great shape. It didn’t have the best HVAC system, but he said that he had money set aside to get a really nice HVAC system. The cool thing was, the place had a couple of fireplaces throughout the residence. We thought that was perfect because fireplaces always add a certain charm to any home. He ended up buying the place and here I was going to his house warming party. He had the fireplaces going, and there was also another surprise that he didn’t tell me about. He actually had radiant heated floors installed throughout the place. I was wondering what that heating sensation was coming from the floors, and that’s when he told me about the installation. He said he wanted to surprise everybody, and that’s why he didn’t tell anybody about his new radiant heated floors. I said it must have cost him a fortune, but he explained that the energy efficiency of radiant heated floors was so good, he would recover the investment in a few years or so. I was really happy for my buddy, because with this new home, it was like he was living the dream.
