Changing Preachers
Pastors in the United Methodist Church have it surprisingly wonderful in our opinion. Most are dedicated, hardlaboring, in addition to are firm believers in carrying out the labor of John Wesley, who founded the Methodist Movement in the 1800s. They get paid a fantastic salary, live in the church’s parsonage for free, in addition to have a liberal expense budget. The terrible thing is that they can be moved at the whim of the congregation or as assigned by the higher-ups in the local districts. My observance as a member of the congregation is that as soon as the pastor begins to assume “comfortable” in the task in addition to with the elders of the church, they soon transport on. In certain ways, our HVAC system is care about a United Methodist minister. The minister provides spiritual comfort while the HVAC provides atmospheric comfort. Ministers often labor several afternoons a week just care about our HVAC system, however when our pastor needs a break, he will go on a weekend retreat. All our HVAC needs are a few afternoons off when the weather is mild or a few minutes as it gets a “revival” by a qualified HVAC company with a twice-yearly cleaning in addition to service tune-up. Our congregation is not that pleased with our new minister. She began to spout too much moderate air while in her Sunday sermons, in addition to she made some weird sounds when she tried to sing along with the choir.
