I really love that time of the year and the entire atmosphere that comes with it! A few years ago I invested in a very expensive electric fireplace. I did not invest in the electric fireplace for energy savings like many do, but I more or less did it to add to the wonderful holiday atmosphere around my house. There was something missing I had thought. And after thinking about it, I figured out it must have been me not having a fireplace in my house. My house is a newer home so it did not come with a fireplace already in it. The next best thing was to get an electric fireplace that was pretty expensive and that would look as real as ever. This electric fireplace really made the difference in the holiday atmosphere in my home. Especially when I decorated it with all the lights and everything that goes with it. My family were really impressed with the look and feel of my electric fireplace and made several comments of how beautiful it looked. I highly recommend getting an electric fireplace for your home if you already do not have one installed. They really add that old time feel to the Christmas holidays and just bring sheer smile and joy to all that are around it. Not to mention, the electric fireplace is indeed a great energy saver to use as an alternative to central heating systems, if you are looking to save a few bucks.
