wireless thermostat is a huge improvement
I got by with an old-fashioned mercury thermostat for the first multiple years after both of us purchased our house.

I simply downloaded the app and now have all sorts of information and options right at our fingertips. However, I rarely need to make any adjustments because the thermostat detects when our family is house or away. It knows our common schedule and also tracks the location of our smartphones. Whenever both of us enter or leave a geographic radius around the property, it reacts accordingly, either conserving energy or providing ideal comfort. I no longer need to remember to raise or lower the thermostat setting before rushing out in the morning, and both of us don’t step inside an boiling or cold chilly house.
