Giving my life the turn around it needed was one of the best decisions I ever made

I had had enough of my life and the direction I was heading. I knew I needed a change. Right now my life was as average and boring as it could get. I worked an office job that I couldn’t stand, lived in a city I hated, and I was ready for a way out. I had thought about leaving and tossed the thought around in my head for many sleepless nights. Eventually I got the guts to do it, I quit everything and left for another better city. I was going to follow my dream. I wanted to be an entrepreneur, to have my own business. I took all the money I had and put it towards starting my own heating and cooling company. My dad was a handyman and he worked at a big HVAC corporation back in the day, he only quit when he retired. He loved every minute of it and I decided to follow in his footsteps. I was amazed at how well my business took off. Soon, I was no longer worrying about money. My customers seemed to love my heating and cooling prices. I made sure to provide a wide range of heater and air conditioning services. Including but not limited to heater repairs, air conditioning repairs, heating and cooling tune-ups, duct cleanings, installation of heating and cooling units etc. Giving my life the turn around it needed was one of the best decisions I ever made. I can’t imagine what my life would be if I had stayed. Now I have a thriving business with loyal employees and valued customers.

I was always the creative type. For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for painting. I turned my passion into a career and started my own business. However, on my own time I still liked to paint for myself and for the joy it gave me. I have one room in the house where I store all my paintings. All was going well until recently, on a normal day when I am finished I leave all my work out to dry close to the HVAC system. The air from the air conditioner provides a nice cool breeze in the house and makes the paint dry much quicker. That was until my air conditioner died suddenly. I knew I would have to have it fixed. Until then, all my work would need to dry the slow way. I called my local heating and cooling provider and explained the issue and they told me they would send a technician out to take a look at my a/c. When the heating and cooling repairman arrived, he seemed very professional. It didn’t take him long before he was able to identify what the problem was. He explained the issue thoroughly and how it needed to be fixed. Once all had been said, he got straight to work on repairing my air conditioning. When at last the air conditioning was completed and working well again I thanked him and we shook hands. I looked outside and watched as the temperatures outside started to climb. But I didn’t worry about it, I put my cooling system on blast and sat relaxed with the cool air inside.

I have been talking with my husband about getting a new HVAC system in our house because ours is on the fritz. We have lived in our house for about six years and the HVAC system was in the house when we moved in. They say you should have your HVAC system replaced every ten years and I know that ours has been in the house much longer. However, my husband hates to spend money on things like that so I know that it is going to be a tough sell to get him on board to replace the HVAC system. I have slowly been dropping hints that we need to have the HVAC system replaced and then last week a miracle happened and our thermostat stopped working. I ran into the kitchen to tell my husband because I was so excited to have an excuse to have the HVAC system replaced. I know my husband thought that I somehow broke the thermostat on purpose but that was not the case, it was just luck! I am so glad that we are going to have a new HVAC system in our house just in time for summer! I think my husband is really going to love the new HVAC system once we have it installed, he just has to wait and see how great it is going to be!

I am about to lose my mind! My kids have been in the house for over a month now and I really think I am going to lose it.

I have four boys that are all under twelve and they are really driving me crazy.

Since they can’t go to school right now and they can’t really do anything else I am having a hard time with them in the house all day. Having four boys is a full time job so I don’t work which means that my husband is gone all day at the office so he doesn’t understand what it is like to be home all day with the boys. One thing that really bothers me about the boys is how they are constantly changing the temperature of the thermostat. I don’t know why they can’t just leave the thermostat along like I asked, but they always want the house to be colder. I hate having the air conditioner running all day in the house because the energy bill goes up so much each month and they just don’t understand that. I told them that if they keep changing the thermostat that I am going to start making them pay the bills each month. Hopefully my threat will scare them enough so they stop changing the thermostat all the time. I am really going crazy over here so hopefully they are able to go back to school soon because I need a break asap!
