The two of us might never get this house
The process of buying a home is 1 of the worst things I have ever gone through.
It is a big financial decision, lots of paperwork plus people all trying to screw the other 1 over. I then get to go through this process with the worst penny pincher in the world. My girlfriend has trouble making any sort of purchase. Frequently she will go to the mall in order to buy something but leave empty handed. No price is ever adequate. Buying a home has become a real strain on our relationship. I know we have found the perfect house. It has lots of land, absolutely private plus is near my parents. The home is big enough for a couple of kids plus is fairly replaced. I will admit the sellers are asking quite a bit for the house. They are around 30 grand too high plus they refuse to haggle. The home inspection came in recently plus the girl said the HVAC plan is 17 years aged plus about to go. I had my girlfriend on board to just buy the home at an inflated price. Now that the HVAC component might not make it another year, she wants to leave the house. I believe she just doesn’t want to buy the house. New HVAC component is around 6-8 grand. At this point, with all the currency we are spending, that isn’t a make it or chop it amount for me. My girlfriend is super agitated plus thinking the sellers are trying to screw us over with faulty heating plus air.
