All of us had to redo the Heating as well as A/C plan at our church during the shutdown

Six weeks ago, the congregation at our church voted to go ahead and update the heating and cooling plan in our building.

All of us had been thinking about it off and on for a while, however we kept putting it off.

That’s because as a congregation, we consistently wanted to help others more than we wanted to improve the indoor air conditions inside the church! I guess that’s a relaxing reason to put off upgrading your heating and cooling system, however the truth was that the Heating as well as A/C plan genuinely needed to be done regardless. In other words, I’m thrilled for the reasoning behind not doing it, however we genuinely needed to get it done. All of us were having all kinds of concerns with the gas furnace and the air conditioner plan at the church building. When we were forced to shut down services for a while because of the coronavirus, we decided that it was going to be the perfect time to do all of the Heating as well as A/C updates in the church, then since we weren’t going to be meeting for a while, we knew that it would be a relaxing time to replace and service all of the ventilation ducts that needed to be worked on. Not only that, however since we weren’t going to be having any people meeting there, it wouldn’t be an issue to be without our central air conditioner or heating plan for weeks at a time. When you’re dealing with big groups of people, you can’t genuinely be without air conditioner during the summer. I’m thrilled that we were able to get the Heating as well as A/C plan fixed up during the shutdown.
