My Mom’s modern air conditioner stopped working briefly
I went to go visit my Mom and she was telling myself and others that she recently had her Heating, Ventilation, and A/C redone in her apartment due to having some problems with it in the past, she lives in an aged apartment that was built in the 50’s and she has central heating and cooling.
She also has a smart thermostat, although she refuses to use the app on her iPhone to change the temperature of the thermostat because it makes her assume lazy.
When I was visiting, every one of us both noticed that it felt entirely warm in her house. She lives in the south and it is the summer, so it is normally entirely hot and humid outside. It was about 100 degrees outside that day. My Mom got frustrated because she just got her Heating, Ventilation, and A/C redone so everything should’ve been working smoothly. I told her to try turning the thermostat off for a bit, and then turning it back on to see if the air conditioning system comes back on cooler. I live in an aged apartment and sometimes I have to do that with my air conditioning system to supply it a little chop and it seems to work; Both of us went outside while every one of us waited to turn the air conditioner back on. It was super hot outside and every one of us were dripping with sweat up a storm. I told my Mom to use her iPhone to turn the thermostat back on since she has a smart thermostat and every one of us wanted it to assume cool when every one of us opted to go back inside. My Mom agreed and her iPhone showed her that the thermostat was back on and set to air conditioning system. Both of us walked back inside a few hours later and every one of us could certainly assume a difference and the air conditioning system felt great.
