My wife has been mentioning heat pumps
Lately every night at the dinner table or when we are sitting on the couch, my wife has been mentioning heat pumps. I wasn’t sure where she was getting this from, since she has never shown interest towards HVAC technology before, but I originally wasn’t paying too much attention to it. It wasn’t until we were watching TV that I found out. My wife discovered a new TV show she really loves, and I hadn’t had time to watch it. Finally when I had a bit of time together, we sat down and watched it. And that is when the main character, a HVAC worker, started talking about and showing off his new geothermal heat pump. That is when the light bulb went off. I knew my wife’s favorite character was the A/C tech, and so she was probably wanting to get a heat pump because her favorite character had one. I asked her about it and she said that she would love to get one. I wasn’t so sure on the idea, we didn’t know hardly anything about heat pumps or how they work, or whether they would be a good fit for our area or not. Not to mention the price. I knew most heating and air conditioning technology was quite expensive, and I wasn’t eager to spend a lot of money on something that we probably didn’t need. My wife seemed disappointed, and so I told her we would call the HVAC company tomorrow to ask them about their heat pumps, and see what they say.
