Summer is approaching plus our A/C is still broken
Much to our surprise living separate from an air condition for the last multiple months has been pretty tolerable.
The weather has been much more temperate than usual, which was a pleasant surprise, but i open up the windows for a crossbreeze, plus while the nights are a little humid, the evenings have been attractive.
As a sizable bonus, our monthly energy bills have dropped by more than half. This has enabled me to set aside a little currency, so that I could get the A/C checked out before the temps start rising any further. Hopefully I also have enough currency to get the A/C fixed, however that all depended on what the professional had to say. The man came over last weekend plus spent about thirty seconds doing a full Heating plus Air Conditioning system inspection before talking to me about the results. I don’t speak Heating plus Air Conditioning, so most of what he told me sounded like gibberish. I asked the Heating plus Air Conditioning tech to split to the chase plus tell me how much it would cost, but when he said it would cost 2 thoUSnd dollars to do all the necessary Heating plus Air Conditioning repairs, I thanked him kindly plus asked him to leave. It might as well have been a million dollars! Instead I will invest a small fraction of that currency into a small, portable A/C unit. This device is only powerful enough for cooling down 1 room, however for a summer time this hot that will be better than no cooling at all, maybe when I win the lottery I can afford to get regular A/C repairs done.
