I couldn't take my eyes off the HVAC technician. (was she married?)

I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to get this HVAC technician. She was one of the most beautiful women I had ever laid eyes on, and I couldn’t quit looking at her. I’m sure I acted like some kind of weirdo, but I couldn’t help it. I was hopelessly in love at first sight. I kept trying to see her hand to check for a ring. Was she engaged? Married? I had to find out, but I couldn’t ask. I would change my entire lifestyle for the HVAC technician if she gave me a chance. I went downstairs and asked if she wanted a cup of coffee, so I could get a glimpse of her again. She said no thank you, and I swore I heard a choir of angels sing. I couldn’t understand why I was feeling this way. Maybe it was gratitude that the HVAC technician was there so promptly. I didn’t think i was lonely. I had lived alone for almost five years now. I had and dated many beautiful women over the years. I thought that if she did just one thing wrong, I would feel differently, but she didn’t. She came up from the basement and told me the furnace was fine. She couldn’t find anything wrong with it, and asked if I had questions. She must have thought I was deaf, but I couldn’t answer. I was tongue-tied. When I did open my mouth, I told her I loved her. She bit her lips to keep from laughing and said that was an odd response. I apologized and told her how I was feeling. She winked and told me it was probably indigestion and handed me her bill.
