I called the wrong air conditioning dealer on accident
I feel bad, because I made a pretty big mistake and ended up wasting time of a heating and air conditioning company. Not only did I waste the A/C corporation’s time, but I am still dealing with heating and cooling difficulties myself, because my air conditioner is not repaired yet. Let me explain. A week ago, when I was setting up the HVAC appointment, I called the local air conditioning company. However, somehow I managed to get the numbers mixed up and instead of calling the local heating and A/C business in my area, I managed to call a heating company over 500 miles away from me! They were in an entirely different state than I was. I didn’t catch this mistake, and neither did they, until the poor A/C worker was out there looking for my nonexistent address. Of course the address I gave him didn’t exist in his area, so the A/C worker was stuck in the hot weather, driving around for a long time looking for something that wasn’t even there. They finally realized the error, and called me. I felt so bad for making the mistake, and the A/C company ended up charging me a small fee for basically a missed appointment. I didn’t mind too much, I just wish I had caught the mistake sooner! Now I have to call the actual local air conditioning dealer and get an appointment. Not only that, but I am still stuck without A/C for the time being, until the local cooling corporation can make its way to my place.
