Job transfer rains on our cooling parade
I do not care for it when fantastic news comes with exhausting news.
And then, the exhausting news certainly just sort of ruins the fantastic news.
This is just what I encountered recently when I was called into the conference room at work. This is where all the bosses meet and they even have a separate temperature control in that room. I am never super gleeful when I get invited into that room because it usually means something big is about to change. I went into work that afternoon having left the perfect central a/c peacefulness of our home, just like every other afternoon. But by the end of the afternoon, there was going to be a whole lot of change in our lives. And that was certainly something that we were not looking forward to when it came to my fiance and I. We had been nomads for the company for a long time and we’re glad to finally own a home and put down some roots. And we love the home we found so much even before the renovations. But now that we have amazing residential heating, ventilation, and A/C with mad amounts of heating, ventilation, and A/C technology, our home is even better. Along with the current heating, ventilation, and A/C system, we also put in the kitchen of our dreams. So by the end of the meeting, I knew that I was going to have to say goodbye to that house. The bosses had given myself and others an offer I certainly could not refuse. It was a job making the move, as I would have to relocate to take on this position. There certainly wasn’t any way I was saying anything but yes. Still, I lingered inside the commercial heating, ventilation, and A/C of the office a lot longer that evening because I certainly didn’t want to share the news to my fiance.
