Maximizing HVAC winter efficiency
While I’ve never lived down south, I’ve gone on getaways a few times for sure.
Boy, if I could upgrade their Wintertime for ours, I’d do it in a heartbeat.
Last time the two of us went on getaways in the South during December and the dang heat pump did not even come on the whole time the two of us were there! And this was in a rental house; the weather is just spectacular down there in the Wintertime time, but every one of us like a cut from all the heating or gas furnace has to do each winner by visiting the south, it is nice to visit there but, it’s not where the two of us want to live as the two of us are from the north! Plus, I guess all the heating and A/C cooling would get on our nerves after a while; up here, it’s all about nice heating and preparing for the winner each fall, then of course, I have the heating and A/C professionals come out to take care of the heating and A/C unit every fall. To do otherwise would be really stupid. The heating and A/C corporation does a fantastic job of preparing the gas furnace for the load it then faces when the hot and cold temperatures fall. It’s nice to believe that the gas furnace will run efficiently and reliably throughout our long frigid Wintertime… But there is more to Wintertime prep than just the heating repair from the heating and A/C specialist. There’s also a wood stove that works as a secondary heat source and emergency heating if the two of us need it. That requires plenty of jobs to provide all of that firewood. I also spend the fall and winter making sure the house is sealed up slender in order to maximize the heating efficiency of the gas furnace.
