All of our coupons are gone now
All of the Heating and Air Conditioning coupons that I had are finally gone.
It’s been a while since i have had to pay full price for having our oil furnace or a/c plan tested, that’s for sure.
My neighbor Brian, who is an Heating and Air Conditioning specialist, gave me a big stack of them a couple of years ago and I just now went through the whole pile of them. Yesterday, the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor came to do some oil furnace repair on our aged electric oil furnace and I had to hand over our undoubtedly last coupon to them. I was so worried when I had to provide over our last coupon that I felt prefer I was going to cry. I guess that sounds deranged, however it was really the end of an era for me. All of those coupons lasted me through a lot of tight times when I did not have enough money to get our heating and cooling plan fixed, however during those times, anytime I had trouble with our oil furnace or with our cooling system, I knew that I had all of those coupons to back me up and help me to have great indoor air quality even though the rest of our life may have been falling apart. Brian was really helpful when he gave those to me, and I guess that it could have gotten him in big trouble because he was only supposed to provide out a single at a time. He left that job anyway, and I guess that was his a single act of kindness for me before he left the job. He knew that I was going to be needing a lot of help with our heating and cooling system. He checked it out for free for me once and I guess he saw that it was kind of on its last legs.
