Sometimes when you're married to an HVAC technician it's hard
They assign him the shifts, and he has to just take them and deal with it
Sometimes when you are married to an HVAC technician, it can be hard.They have a tendency to have really strange schedules sometimes. Their schedules always depend on holidays and the weather, it seems. For instance, when the weather is really hot, they end up getting a lot of calls for air conditioning repairs. It’s just one of those things that you have to learn to deal with whenever you are married to an HVAC technician. Whenever we first got married, his schedule wasn’t nearly as crazy as it is now. Back then, he was still in the training process of his professions. He had just recently finished his HVAC certification courses, and so he did not have a regular schedule yet at the HVAC company that he had gone to work for. They were basically letting him come in at odd hours so that he could go and learn on different jobs from different HVAC technicians. That way he would be totally covered and he would learn how to do everything from air conditioning repairs to furnace installations to ventilation system cleaning. It made sense for them to do it that way when he was first getting started, but I was under the impression that his schedule was always going to be that way. Of course, that did not turn out to be the case.These days, he works weird shifts and he hardly ever gets to choose when he is going to work. They assign him the shifts, and he has to just take them and deal with it. That can make things very stressful around our house because we have three kids that we have to run around all the time and I need help sometimes.
