I could make a living in music in the future
I bought another mic for my sound system to do shows out on the streets.
I think if I keep up with the practice I can have a show that generates enough money each month to cover all of my rent. If I played several times a month and can make a good amount each time then that would certainly cover the rent as I now have a roommate and my rent is only half. I found an absolutely cool guy to rent my room and he even owns a local contractor which sells musical equipment. He is a musician too and plays in clubs around the nation and makes a fantastic living from it. I would like to do that in due time and eventually back on my working hours working for the local company. I just need to get a little better at the drums and singing and it should all fall into place soon enough. I will keep working at the Heating, Ventilation & A/C appliance company for now, doing tasks like a/c service and heat pump upgrades. I like working there now because it permits me to use my skills in the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment field which my Mom taught me so long ago. I think I could be fantastic enough with the drumming in a few years to where I could play in clubs and actually dedicate my life to enjoying music. I absolutely adore playing the drums and it is even more fun when I can play inside a club with AC in the Summer instead of on the streets like I have been doing. It can get fairly hot out there though.
