I don't have to worry about a car
Covid hit my family hard.
My wife got sick first and she couldn’t really quarantine away from me and the kids.
When I got sick, we took the kids to her parents house and poked and prayed that they would not get sick too. I was sick for 4 weeks and I lost my job at the HVAC service repair center. I did not return to work until several months later. I interviewed for several jobs. A lot of people wanted to know why I had been out of work for such a long time. When I explained the problems that my family had with the covid virus, people were very understanding. I interviewed for a job with a local repair service. I really didn’t know much about that company, but they had an advertisement online and I contacted the number and got a return email from the company executive. The HVAC repairman job was for a skilled level mechanic with knowledge in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC applications. I was the perfect fit for the job. The salary is pretty good, but the best part of the job is the fact that I get a company truck. I can use the truck as my personal vehicle as long as I am not traveling more than 200 miles in one day. That’s all the company insurance will cover. My wife and I lost one of our vehicles when we couldn’t pay the bills and hearing about this job almost made me want to cry. I’m a grown man, but I could not believe my luck and the generosity of the HVAC business. I worked at the other company for 8 years and they never gave me a company car.
