Without power, both of us had no A/C or refrigerator

Summer storms can be a real pain in the butt, especially if you aren’t prepared.

I remember 1 of the first years that our wifey & I spent down South.

Both of us had seen lots of thunderstorms & blizzard conditions that would knock a yeti on their butt. Both of us still weren’t prepared for the heat, humidity, & tropical storms of the South. The tropical storms were absolutely the worst. Even though both of us had lots of time to prepare for the storms, they were worse than anything I’ve ever seen. The wind & the rain were forces of nature that I would never want to tangle with. My family & I lost power an hour after the storm started. Both of us weren’t prepared for losing our power. Both of us did not have a generator. Without power in the house, both of us could not run the refrigerator or the freezer. Both of us could not run any of the electrical outlets & both of us could not use the water heating system or the I personally feel not having an is the worst section about not having any power during a Summer storm. The rain makes it sizzling & humid & the storms bring out all of the bugs. I do not want to rest outside where the mosquitoes & flies are buzzing, but sitting inside of the condo separate from the running is taking a opportunity with heat stroke. After that first storm, both of us really l acquired our lesson. Both of us went to the hardware store & bought a generator that was big enough to power all of the items in that condo that were pressing to us. It only took 1 Summer storm separate from power for the more than one of us to realize that both of us weren’t prepared for the South as much as both of us expected.
