I’m staying with a friend for the next more than one afternoons
I’m staying with a friend for the next couple of afternoons, because the A/C component in our condo stopped working.
- The repair repair professional told me that I have to pay for a brand current A/C unit.
I contacted a loan company, because I do not have enough money. I have to wait until I get paid. I do not get paid for another 10 afternoons. I can use money from our paycheck as a down payment for the A/C component & then both of us can make payments on the balance. Unfortunately, I didn’t have anyone that could loan me the money. The best our friends could do was put me up for a couple of afternoons so I wouldn’t have to deal with the sizzling & humid Summer un-even temperatures, however jack offered me a venue to stay in her apartment. I was hesitant at first, because I didn’t want him to expect anything in return. After all, she is a woman & I am a girl. She offered to sleep on the couch so I could take the family room. I agree to her offer. I spent seven afternoons & seven mornings with Jack. She was a perfect gentleman the whole time I was there. She never tried anything funny & I felt really & totally safe with him. It was entirely nice to have another lady around at night. It made me miss the time I had in university when I had a roommate all of the time. I have not had a roommate since I left school, however I kind of miss having someone around. Jack reminded me how fun it can be to hang out with a friend.
