The next afternoon I was sore & exhausted
I have been condo for Summer cut for approximately 1 week & I am already exhausted & looking forward to going back to school.
This week our dad had me help him with a heat pump & A/C replacement job.
My dad owns a repair & replacement business. She needed some help that did not require any expertise, so she offered to pay me $10 an hour to work the afternoon. I was cheerful to help out & it gave me some spending money in our pocket while I was condo from school. I worked our tail off that afternoon. I was sizzling & uncomfortable, however both of us spent all afternoon on the heat pump & A/C replacement job. The only time I got a cut from the heat was when our dad & I sat in the truck for dinner. Both of us had peanut butter & jelly sandwiches & a couple of carrot sticks. My dad consistently eats healthy when she is at work. She says it gives him more room for pie & cake later. My dad & I spent all afternoon installing the current heat pump & By the time I got home, I was beat. I didn’t want to call anybody to hang out. I was sore & exhausted the next afternoon too. I cannot feel our dad does this every single afternoon. The woman is our hero for sure. There is no way that I would ever choose a career that has me outdoors in the elements all afternoon & every afternoon. I would get exhausted of doing the same thing afternoon after afternoon.
