Rather have a handy guy
I have a very handy husband and it is amazing.
For years I dated guys that focused on going to the gym, getting expensive haircuts and dressing nice.
We went to the movies, clubs and to dinner all the time. They weren’t very good partners though. My husband is the exact opposite. He spends no effort on his physical appearance whatsoever. He is a very nice person and a total homebody. He loves tinkering on things around the house. He makes custom wood furniture for our house and for anyone who buys from him. He is extremely good with cars, electric, plumbing and HVAC work. Due to this, I never need to hire out any service. I joke that my husband can do anything. He has expanded my kitchen window, retiled the whole house and moved my plumbing over in the bathroom for me. Recently he had to perform a HVAC repair. I thought for sure it was going to stump him. He definitely is the most hesitant about tackling HVAC repairs. I managed to convince him to try. The AC just wasn’t producing any cold air. My husband at first thought it might be low coolant which would require someone with the license replacing it. Then he realized it was just our outdoor unit that was tilted on its side and all the coolant pooled to one side. After he wrote it, we had perfect AC again. I am glad that I didn’t have to call a technician for that job. Take my advice ladies, get yourself a handyman.
