It was chilly after fishing all day, but the fireplace helped
I moved up north to work with a neighbor of mine on a construction project.
- The construction project was a two-year task, so I stayed with Jack the entire time.
He has a home by the lake, and jack and I have known each other since middle school. The people I was with and I played on the same Little League team and every one of us went to the same High School. When Jack moved up north, he told myself and others to call him if I ever wanted to visit. I called Jack as soon as I found out about the construction project. I knew he didn’t live entirely far from the locale where I would be working. He had a room in the basement for me, but it didn’t have any heat or AC. AC wasn’t a huge deal at all, but heat was necessary or I would freeze to death. Jack had a giant radiant space oil furnace for the basement. The radiant space oil furnace was in the entrance to the basement and the radiant oil furnace had a small fan to blow the hot air in the direction of my living room. The radiant oil furnace worked entirely well. The first couple of months that I maintained the project, the temperatures were chilly and icy. I was plenty hot enough thanks to my neighbor and the radiant space oil furnace that he picked up for the basement. After their two-year task was up, I contemplated staying up North for a few more years. I was prepared to move in with Jack full-time, but my boss called myself and others with a task chance down south and there was no way that I could say no to the 8 months long project. It paid even more money than the task up north and I got a supplier car and a paid apartment.
