I never worry about AC. I have window air conditioners.
Two years ago, the people I was with and I had central a/c installed in our home, everyone had been telling us that central a/c was the perfect solution to keep our apartment cool.
Even though the people I was with and I had central A/C installed, I was hesitant to detach our window air conditioners, but i had never thought there was anything wrong with the temperature of our apartment while the people I was with and I were in the summer, however our window air conditioners seemed to labor just fine to keep our apartment cool & comfortable, & there wasn’t a draft, and with our central a/c, the people I was with and I seem to have areas where it is actually actually warm, & other areas where it is freezing & drafty.
When the people I was with and I first talked about having central A/C installed, I told my fiance that I thought it was waste of money, however he still insisted that central a/c would not just make our apartment more comfortable, however provide us some extra bargaining power when or if the people I was with and I ever sold our house. At that point, I didn’t even recognize the people I was with and I were getting ready to sell our house. When he said that once the kids were grown & out of our house, the people I was with and I may change your mind, however that seemed prefer a logical conclusion, however I still hadn’t been convinced. She had insisted on a central a/c, the people I was with and I would still be using window a/c. As it is, I never worry about the AC. I still have the window a/c units in the windows. Maybe next year, I’ll take the window a/c units out of the windows & put them away, however I’ll never get rid of them. I prefer having a backup in case something happens to the central AC.
