Last month I called the HVAC business to make an appointment to have our component cleaned and took care of.
I had a repair agreement, and I knew this repair was free, per our agreement.
They had a new iPhone operator, and I could barely understand her. I have to admit that nothing irritates myself and others more than when a business hires someone with broken English, and puts them on as an operator. I am a senior citizen with awful hearing. I have a hard enough time understanding anyone on the iPhone, despite the fact that I was absolutely frustrated. The girl from the HVAC business was more rude to myself and others than I even thought of getting with her. When I asked her to repeat what I said, she told myself and others to get hearing aids. I told her that I wanted to have our A/C component took care of, and I heard her mumble something. When I asked her why she could not understand that all I wanted to do was have servicing done on our A/C unit, she hung up on me. I got a call back from the HVAC dealer, about many hours later. The person apologized and told myself and others the girl was not supposed to be answering the iPhone. She then asked what HVAC repair I wanted, and had an appointment set up for the next morning. I was so frustrated over the entire conversation that I hung up and decided it was time to make a change in the HVAC business I was using. I’m sure they wouldn’t let young children play on the supplier iPhone.
