I wanted to have the air conditioning repaired before the baby was born.
I had just started into my third trimester, and I was beginning to really mind the heat of summer.
My husband was really concerned with the way my feet were swelling from the heat, and the fact that we didn’t seem to be getting any AC coming from the air conditioning unit.
The first thing he did was to go to the home center and pick up a small air conditioning unit for the window in our bedroom. If we can afford to have the central air conditioning unit repaired, at least we would have some AC for me to relax in the bedroom. I tried to explain to my husband that I would just much rather have the AC unit repaired and save the money that he was about to spend on a window AC unit, but he didn’t want to hear. We bought the window AC unit, and had it installed in the window in our bedroom. I had to admit that the AC felt really good when I was sleeping at night. When I woke up in the morning I was relaxed and my feet were no longer swollen. My husband asked me if I was enjoying the window AC unit, I had to admit that I was. I told him that all I wanted however, was to have the central air conditioning repaired before the baby was born. My husband chuckled when I told him this, and assured me that the central air conditioning would be repaired before the baby was born. He said that although he procrastinates for months,, if not years on other chores, this chore was for the safety of our unborn child.
