Ready to start a new HVAC chapter
It’s been great living in this house.
We’ve seen a lot over the past 25 years. My wife and I even raised a couple of kids in this place. They turned out great and we’re awfully proud of that fact. We’re also proud of the fact that our original HVAC unit lasted 25 years. That is sort of a feat that we just were thrilled to see happen. This house was built 25 years ago and that HVAC equipment was original equipment then. It’s not like it was exactly the latest and greatest in residential HVAC. But it was pretty good and we were glad to have it. When the HVAC company started up the HVAC service plan, we joined in. That just made it so much easier for me. It was hard enough for me to change the air filter for the HVAC equipment each month. So not having to remember the HVAC maintenance was a real winner for me. And anything that gets lifted off my memory is a good thing. Still, we had no idea that this heating and cooling equipment would last as long as it did. Plus, it did all that heating and cooling over all those seasons without once breaking down. There were a few hiccups that were quickly corrected but never a full on breakdown. So while I’m grateful for the service of that HVAC equipment. I’m so thrilled to be welcoming in the new HVAC unit that will be installed by the HVAC contractor. We’re going to have a whole lot more HVAC technology than we’ve ever had before. That should be really interesting and could save us a lot on utility costs as well.
