Monkey see, monkey do.

My partner and his brother are twins.

Even though they are both married and have families of their own, they are still entirely close.

If my partner has something he needs done, he calls his brother. If Tom needs something done, he will call my partner. It’s just how it is. My mother-in-law says it is a case of monkey see, monkey do. I just call it not being able to do anything by yourself. Last week, I told my partner that there was a problem with our oil furnace. I thought he would either ask me to call the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C corporation, or he would call. The first thing he did was to call his brother and ask him to come over on the weekend. He said he had a repair to be made to the oil furnace and he needed his help. I called my sibling-in-law and asked her if she was coming over with him, and she said no. She wanted nothing to do with seeing that pair working with any type of Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C equipment. I told her I understood how she felt, and asked if she wanted to go shopping. I figured the least we could do was get out of the way and let the more than one men play with the oil furnace, while we made the decision to go shopping. Both of us knew that when we got home, we would entirely have to call the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C corporation to have the oil furnace respectfully repaired. I guess we spent nearly as much money as what the current oil furnace was going to cost, however we had fun. Both of us didn’t need to call the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C corporation when we got home, because my partner already had.
