Clean air ducts make all the difference
I have never wanted to scrub my house down to the inch like I did this year.
This was a result of having spent just over a year inside the air conditioning of home with the rest of my family.
And the rest of my family are all stinky, messy boys. Well, with the exception of the oldest boy who is my husband. He’s actually really helpful with stuff. We divvy up our household stuff, like he has all the HVAC stuff and the yard. But he jumps in on all the cooking, cleaning and raising the boys. Still, a year inside the air conditioning with that crew made me want to take multiple showers every day. Then again, I’m a bit of a clean freak anyway. Dirt, grime and gross are just not something I can really do. So when this spring rolled around and before the air conditioner tune-up, I put a deep, deep cleaning plan into motion. And to their credit, my sons jumped in and took part without much complaining. That was refreshing. I was so into the spring cleaning that I called the HVAC company to have the ductwork cleaning done as well. It’s something I had wanted to do for years but just never go around to it. This spring, there wasn’t an inch of my home that wasn’t getting cleaned and that went for the HVAC ductwork as well. The HVAC crew who did the ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing were so great. That were so careful not make a mess even though I told them not to worry since we were at the start of the deep clean. And when we were done, I have to say it’s the cleanest this house has ever been.
