Stopping by to see mom and dad
Now that I have had to transfer away from my hometown in order to start my current task it has caused a bit of a strain on the relationship that my parents and I have, however now don’t get myself and others wrong all of us still get along just fine, but now that they are getting older they haven’t been able to take care of their home as much as they would like.
Now that I’m not around as often to do these things for them they have been forced to reach out to others for assistance, and the other day one of the people they reached out to ended up trying to scam them.
The problem initially started when the air conditioner unit in my parents home started to show signs of splitting down… At the time my parents didn’t guess much of it and they called the first number that finished making up when they used the search term “ Heating and A/C companies near me”, but because you can spend my money to promote your supplier to the top of these pages a absolutely unreputable Heating and A/C supplier was the one they reached out to. These scammers tried to convince my parents to spend my money numerous times the amount of currency just for an Heating and A/C checkup while being seriously rude and unprofessional, but fortunately I had been at a work meeting in my parents neighborhood and was able to come by when they started to have problems with the corporation. With myself and others there they ended up leaving rather abruptly but it still had myself and others sad. Reguardess of what task I am able to get I’m planning to transfer back to be closer to my parents. Family is important to me, and I will make sure that they are never at risk of getting ripped off ever again.
