My wife doesn’t listen to me anymore
I’m not sure what it is lately, but my wife and I have been constantly bickering.
We are bickering like siblings would, and it’s usually about the smallest issues that most people wouldn’t even blink at.
Like my wife was mad that I left a single fork in the kitchen sink, stupid stuff like that. Then we got into a fight later on about getting the wrong shade of blue cover and sheets. I try to sit her down and explain why I feel the way I do, but I feel like she doesn’t listen to me anymore, which is unusual because she used to be such a good listener. Lately, one of our main fights seems to be our HVAC component. She believes we are spending way too much money on our central air conditioning unit. Our bill is about $295, which isn’t cheap, but I’ve heard worse. I personally believe that as long as we aren’t using it 24/7, then it’s no big deal. It has gotten to the point that she only wants me to pay the HVAC bill. She bought a ductless mini split A/C, and she plans on only using that for heating and cooling. I think that is ridiculous, but she won’t listen to what I have to say. I’m not sure what to do at this point, because we are disagreeing on everything, and she won’t listen to me. Our anniversary is coming up, and I got her a gift she had been wanting for a long time, I’m hoping that will maybe heal some wounds we’ve both caused.
