The party was outside this year.
I believe that there is always something good on the horizon, regardless of what is going on in the world.
It seems even more important to find something good.
It is difficult to always be by yourself, and I had enough. I decided it was time to throw a party and throw caution to the wind. It seems that I am saving some money by not going to work. I don’t want to go against the rules of social gathering, so I made my own rules. I have this huge yard and I placed chairs six feet away with the bar in the center. I had a huge sign that said only one customer at a time. All others need to remain seated. I didn’t want anyone running in and out of the house. I got a port-a-potty. We sat outside for hours, drinking, eating and having a great time. I turned my air conditioning down, so I was saving some energy. Normally, everyone would be going in and out and the air conditioning would be going out with them.. I’m kind of liking saving on gas for the car and energy on air conditioning. I would have never thought you could save money just by staying home. Our party was a success, and we continued to practice social distancing. I couldn’t wait to go back inside, out of the sun, and enjoy my air conditioning. Because we had an outdoor party, we didn’t need to worry about the air conditioning that was wasted. We also didn’t need to think about how the air quality was damaged by people who were smoking, drinking and possibly throwing up in my house.
