The past year has been brutal for all of us.
Those that have lost loved ones due to this horrible pandemic are dealing with the worst of it.
Those that are healing from this virus need our thoughts and prayers. And then there are the rest of us. We are those who are dealing with all the changes brought on by the pandemic and its economic calamity. I have been forced to work from the HVAC comfort of my home. And I am one of the lucky ones. There are so many who didn’t have that option. My kids are also home learning remotely in the HVAC of our home as well. While we are lucky to have come this far without health consequences, there have been some hard economic times. It was easily the hottest summer in our home last year in an effort to save on the HVAC utility costs. And I imagine that this year will be a repeat. We are still trying to make do with much less household income. I’m hoping my wife can get back to a part time job and my normal salary will come back. But, I also can’t count on it either. So, we continue to be very careful with our spending. We have cut out a great deal from our normal budget. However, one of the essentials we won’t cut out is the HVAC maintenance. This is the time of year we have the HVAC heat pump serviced. And that is just too important to cut from the budget. HVAC comfort and reliability are just to essential to our family to save a few bucks on.
