I can’t believe this person faked their resume
I decided to put an advertisement in the newspaper because I needed to hire a couple of new HVAC contractors.
- Business has been picking up since the hot season started plus I thought two more contractors would lighten the load on our already tied up HVAC service techs.
The day after I placed the ad, I got a bunch of responses! One lady in particular had a stunning resume. The girl worked for a commercial HVAC upgrade corporation for a number of years. She was in charge of a team of guys. On paper, the girl looked entirely perfect. I thought she was the perfect candidate for an interview, so I contacted the girl plus set something up for the following day. During the interview, I didn’t get the idea that the girl was as knowledgeable as I anticipated. I asked the girl a couple of simple questions plus she was searching for the answers. I expected her to be able to answer them quite easily, especially given the sizable experience on the lady’s resume. After the interview, I made the choice to call some of the references plus HVAC companies listed on the resume. Three of the locales never heard of the lady. One locale couldn’t even locate her name in their employee database for the whole nation. I’m glad I didn’t hire the girl during the interview, because her entire resume looks basically like a forgery. I’m not even sure that the girl has any real HVAC experience. The whole resume could have been printed online for all I know. It’s a good thing that I made the decision to ask a couple of questions during the interview.
