The weather around here is finally cooling down after a very long, hot summer.
However, now that we are getting some relief from the high temperatures, there’s a whole other issue that we have to deal with.
I hadn’t noticed it over the summer because we haven’t had to use the heating system at all. But of course now that the weather is cooling off, I turned the heating system in the truck on when I went out this morning. The temperature outside this morning was in the low forties and I was pretty cold when I went outside to drive to work. However, the heating just wouldn’t work in the truck. I turned it up as high as it would go but it just wouldn’t get warm. Now I’m at a loss as to what I should do. I don’t know if I should call a heating and cooling company to see if they can fix it, or if I should call a car mechanic. Who even takes care of a heating and cooling system when it’s in your car instead of in your home? I don’t even know who takes care of your vehicle’s heating system, when it comes right down to it. It’s never been something that I’ve had to think about or consider before. I guess I’ll have to do some calling around tomorrow to see who might be able to fix the heating system in the truck, though. I won’t be able to last very long this winter without a heater after the temperatures start dropping.
