I don’t recognize zone control will help our situation
When all of us are all here together, we are usually in the kitchen
My roommates and I are consistently fighting over the thermostat settings. I care about the temperature set to about 69 degrees all the time. My roommate Becky, prefers the temperature a lot higher. She prefers it about 82°. Then there is Regan. Regan prefers the temperature around 82 degrees. We’re always getting up and increasing the thermostat. It’s not exhausting if only one or two of us is cabin however when all three of us are home, it’s a constant battle. Recently, Regan has taken it upon herself to call out an Heating and Air Conditioning corporation and see if all of us can’t get it so that we are all comfortable. She has decided to have zone control installed in the house. The only problem with that is that she did not ask me or Becky first. She just signed the paperwork and expects us to pay our portion. The Heating and Air Conditioning corporation is coming on Sunday to install the zone control, however don’t get me wrong, I recognize zone control would be wonderful for this house. Then all of us can each set the temperature the way all of us care about it in our own room. I don’t even recognize that the price of the zone control is that extreme. It’s just that I really can’t afford it right now. Besides, the zone control will not really help for the kitchen. All of us still have to option a temperature and stick with it in each room of the house. When all of us are all here together, we are usually in the kitchen. So I really don’t see the point in paying all that money when we are still going to be fighting over the thermostat in the end.
