I really want underfloor heating and cooling
I’ve always been a really light sleeper.
The slightest noise wakes me up.
For the past 10 years or so, I’ve been wearing earplugs at night simply because our forced air heater and cooler wake me up. Every single time the air conditioner heater kicks on I fall out of sleep. This has been proven on my smart watches. They track your sleep patterns. Even if I don’t know I’m awake, the watch knows I’m awake. So ear plugs have just become a part of life for me. Recently, my husband and I have been talking about moving the family to a house closer to where we both work. So we’ve been looking at houses. I think I may have found the house I really want. We saw it yesterday. It’s much closer to both of our workplaces, the kitchen is amazing, but what I like most of all, is its heating and cooling systems. This house has an underfloor heating and cooling system. No more forced air systems. With underfloor heating and cooling, I understand it’s almost completely quiet. That would be amazing. I didn’t know that a completely quiet heating or cooling system existed. I’d love to be able to hear the rains fall at night or the birds singing in the early morning. I can’t do that with ear plugs. However, I’d like to not be able to hear my HVAC system all night long. I think I will be able to do that with underfloor heating and cooling. So I really hope they accept our offer and we get this house. I’m really looking forward to it.
