I figured there was legitimately mold growing on the cooling coil, dust on the fan blades plus algae clogging the condensate drain! During annual service, the corporation properly tightens electrical connections, lubricates moving parts, checks the many belts plus makes sure the filter is clean. My partner was convinced he could manage these jobs. Since our partner isn’t all that handy around the house, I wasn’t convinced. However, I didn’t think it would hurt to let him try. He devoted nearly five tenths to dismantling the cooling component plus cleaning each component, but once the air conditioning system was put back together, it wouldn’t start up at all. I then needed to call for repair. It cost myself and others a lot more to have the cooling equipment fixed than it would have for usual upkeep.
