My house really needs a new kind of air filtration system

I think that I really need to get a new kind of air filtration system for my house.

The whole place smells like cooking oil or something, and I can’t seem to get rid of the smell no matter what I do.

I know that certain air filters are supposed to be able to get rid of larger particles in your ventilation system, but I think that just means things like dust, dirt, and pollen. I’m not sure that there are any air filters out there on the market that are advanced enough to actually get rid of such tiny particles as odor molecules, but maybe I’m wrong. I know that HEPA filters can filter out bacteria and certain viruses, so maybe they would be able to help with smells as well. I guess installing a HEPA air filter wouldn’t actually hurt anything, and it might help so I will probably try it. If it doesn’t do the trick, I’m either going to have to look into completely replacing our entire HVAC system and the ductwork. That sounds like a heck of a lot of money and effort just to get rid of some nasty smells, but I’m sick and tired of smelling this same old awful smell in our house all the time. The other option that I’ve been thinking of is maybe getting a whole home air purification system installed to run at the same time as the heating and cooling system. I think that would probably get rid of any odors that still remain once the HEPA filter is installed.
