Have you ever been to someone’s beach house that doesn’t dust their air conditioning system vents?

Have you ever been to someone’s beach house & upon entering you realize it just is not clean at all? I’ve experienced this a few times in our life & it has deeply bothered me for multiple reasons; I consider myself to be a clean person.

  • I love to keep our beach house clean because I feel that if you are living in a space you should keep it as clean & sanitary as possible.

I also have really awful dust sensitivities & too much dirt, dust, or dander triggers our dust sensitivities & makes me suffer from itchy eyes, running nose & dry throat; The first dirty beach house situation I experienced was when I was in school. I was dating someone & he was sharing a beach house with many roommates. It seemed as though they never cleaned their home. There were dirty dishes stacked up, pizza boxes, & trash everywhere. They had central a/c in their beach house & I noticed that the vents were caked up with dust. I didn’t even want to imagine what their air conditioning system filter looked like. The minute time this happened was when I was staying in a trip home. The beach house itself wasn;t the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, however it absolutely wasn’t the cleanest. There was a layer of dust on top of the ceiling fans. This beach house also had central a/c & the vents were covered in dust as well. It amazes me that people don’t take the time to unattach dust from their air conditioning system vents. I understand that some air conditioning system vents are on the ceiling so it may be hard to reach, however simply getting a ladder & cleaning the dust off of vents can help prevent dust sensitivities & even help those who have asthma.
